Parvathi Ramkumar is a writer and book reviewer based in Bengaluru. One of her most recent published works is Circus, a translation of her grandfather V. Madhavan Nair Mali's novel for children from Malayalam to English, and published by Hachette. She also has an ebook on Amazon, a high fantasy novel titled The Grove of the Sun, which garnered good reviews from readers in India, the U.S., and the U.K. Her articles have been published in Deccan Herald, The New Indian Express and The Hindu. Her story, River Dance, won the Deccan Herald Short Story Competition in 2012, and another short story, The Lotus and the Moon was published in the Sahitya Akademi journal IndianLiterature in 2015, issue 285.
