Dr Mini John, poet, critic, and translator, is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English, Alphonsa College Pala, affiliated to the MG University, Kottayam, Kerala. Research Guide and PG Board of Studies Member. Started her career as a sub editor of “Vanitha” Fortnightly. Selected as one of the best ten teachers of South India by Tata Consultancy Services and Education World. Her Malayalam translation of Banker to the Poor, the autobiography of the Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus as well as the Education Reference book DC Book of Letter Writing and Modern Correspondence have been published by the DC Books. Five of her illustrated story books of the Jungle Tales also have been published by Mango Books. The story titled The Naughty Cub has been included in the Mango Literary Reader for Class Two.
