Maria is a former journalist and nomad whose love-interests include animals, dancing, and playing football. Nature and books are a blissful escape and she hopes to nurture the magical seeds of love and imagination through her writing. Her rucksack was traded for old bones after a year of solo-travel and she has gone back to being dogmother to her ageing Indie canine, Cocoa. Her love for language led her to do a BA in Literature from Mumbai’s Sophia College and later a PG Diploma in Print Journalism from The Asian College of Journalism, Chennai.
