Best known for her novels A Better Man, Mistress and Ladies Coupé Anita Nair is an acclaimed name in literature. She has written short stories , crime thrillers, historical fiction and wonderful children's stories. She is the recepient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for her contribution to literature and culture and Crossword Book Award, Jury Award, Children's category, Muezza and Baby Jaanhe among others.
